Join us for our November Risk Control Outreach OSHA-10 Hour Construction Course. Attendees who complete all 10 hours of instruction will receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction course completion wallet card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor – OSHA. This course will be presented in English and in order to receive course completion attendees must be proficient in English.
This course has reached capacity.
There is a 3 seat maximum per company. Any registrants beyond 3 will be placed on a waiting list. If the course does not reach capacity, the wait listed seats will be made available for up to 2 additional registrants per company, a total of 5 per company. You will be contacted prior to the training if this option is available. Registration deadline is November 14th at 12:00 pm MST.
This course is nationally recognized throughout the construction industry and is sometimes a pre-qualification or contract requirement for certain contractor projects and customers. Even if not required, many employers and insurance carriers see this training as a favorable investment in a contractor’s workforce and loss control efforts.
This course will span 1.5 days and emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention as they pertain to the following topics:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Health Hazards in Construction
- Trenching and Excavation
- Cranes and Rigging
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Electrical
- Scaffolds
- Fall Protection
- Hand and Power Tools
- Stairs and Ladders
