OSHA Recordkeeping Overview
Are you confused about OSHA’s recordkeeping rule and the various requirements for recording, reporting, and electronic submission of injury and illness data? Many employers are required to maintain OSHA Injury and Illness records as well as post them in the workplace beginning on February 1st. Our 2026 January Risk Control Outreach will cover which organizations fall under OSHA recordkeeping requirements, how to complete the forms, what types of injury and illness incidents must be recorded, and what information to include on the forms. We will also provide an overview of what cases must be reported to OSHA, and which employers are required to electronically submit to OSHA.
*Pinnacol approves this Outreach for Safety Group Credit.
