Join us in congratulating our very own Kevin Baird, Surety Client Consultant! Kevin will be speaking at the upcoming Risk Management in Underground Construction event taking place on April 12th and 13th in Atlanta.

For the fourth year in a row, NASBP is a supporting organization of Risk Management in Underground Construction Course. The program for this year's event offers valuable sessions addressing various ways to mitigate risk on large and complex tunneling projects. Kevin Baird, a Surety Client Consultant with NASBP member Flood and Peterson, is among the industry experts presenting during the course. Baird will address "Underground Risk Management Through Surety" and provide a synopsis of the surety industry's underwriting approach to prequalification criteria and expectations of the bonding process. In addition, he will describe how mitigating contractors' risk through surety bonds, tracking funds of projects, and understanding limits of warranty and insurance contract provisions can be tools to obtaining surety credit and contractor success.
