Aaron Eide joined Flood and Peterson in 2011 as a Risk Advisor. Aaron has over 20 years of experience in managing complex client relationships. He has a keen understanding of the exposures various organizations face. Aaron specializes in Real Estate, Construction, Public Entities, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
Aaron received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of North Dakota and a Graduate Degree in Banking from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Aaron currently serves as the Board of Trustees as past Chairman for Colorado Youth Outdoors.

Brian Schiller joined Flood and Peterson in 2000 as a Risk Advisor, and currently serving the broker as a Shareholder. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Brian provides his expertise in advising clients on their risk management and insurance needs. He is entrenched in the Agribusiness industry.
Brian graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He currently maintains his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Brian serves on the HICHAS Advisory Board, the Agency Council for Nationwide Agribusiness, and has previously served on the Colorado Livestock Association board. He continues to stay involved in the local community through volunteer efforts through the United Way of Weld County.

Associate Risk Advisor
Carson Simms joined Flood and Peterson in 2023 as an Associate Risk Advisor and has spent the last several years as a Worldwide Account Manager for a prominent international shipping company. Carson double majored in Communication Studies and Organizational Leadership at Chapman University in Orange County, CA. Carson holds his P&C license and is a member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. Carson’s father owned his own agency, and his sister, Kelsey, also works for Flood and Peterson as an Associate Risk Advisor. Taking on his father’s legacy while assisting people in protecting themselves and their livelihoods resonates with him, as does volunteering.
In his free time, Carson enjoys spending time with his wife Shelli camping, fishing, golfing, traveling, and walking their two dogs. Carson and his wife are also avid foodies who love to try new recipes at home while traveling to sample new and exotic culinary options.
Carson focuses on commercial business insurance and hopes that his experience in the supply chain industry will assist in better understanding his clients’ needs. Carson looks forward to assisting clients in protecting their assets, employees, and all facets of their business.

Devon values building relationships with clients and building the ideal insurance and risk management solutions. He has expertise in advising many industries, including Construction, Energy, Manufacturing, and Transportation.
Devon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Colorado. Devon’s deep-rooted values in the Northern Colorado community have led to his involvement as Past Chair and current Board Member of Partners Mentoring Youth and membership in Northern Colorado United for Youth.

Eric Zurbrigen joined the Flood and Peterson team in 2011 as a Risk Advisor and has been in the industry ever since. He understands the value of building relationships with his clients to evaluate their needs and assist them in selecting optimal insurance products. Eric has extensive experience advising Municipalities, Construction, Property, and Commercial Automobile.
Eric graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He maintains his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and stays up to date with current insurance and business trends. Eric’s commitment to local communities is a top priority. He currently serves as a board member for the Northern Colorado Chapter of Junior Achievement.

Erik Damrell joined Flood and Peterson in 2022 as an Associate Risk Advisor in our Agribusiness department. Erik has over 8 years of agricultural industry experience. With a foundation in client services, sales and farm operations Erik has a proven track record of problem solving and attention to detail. Erik focuses on agricultural business insurance coverage by creating strategies to manage risk and protect client assets. Gavin Glanz joined Flood and Peterson in 2023 as an Associate Risk Advisor. Gavin has spent previous time working in the personal insurance and construction industries. Gavin received his bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gavin holds his P&C and Life and Health license. Gavin gravitated towards the insurance industry because he enjoys building relationships and believes in adding predictability and security to his clients’ financial planning.
In his free, time Gavin enjoys volunteering in his community and spending time with his wife and their four children.

Jamie May has been a Risk Advisor at Flood and Peterson since 2010. Jamie has over ten years of experience in the insurance industry and managing client relationships. He specializes in advising small to medium-size organizations understand their entire risk profile.
He maintains his Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC) designation and is actively working on completing his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. Jamie is actively involved in the Northern Colorado community. He is a current board member for CHAMP and previously served on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County.

John Freismuth joined Flood and Peterson as an Associate Risk Advisor in 2020 and has been in the industry since 2018. As an advisor, John values client relationships and providing optimal insurance and risk management programs. Kelsey Simms joined Flood and Peterson in 2023 and has been in the industry since 2015. Kelsey is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree as well as her MBA. Kelsey specializes in the Human and Social Services industry. Kelsey believes in working hands on with businesses and their owners to provide a premium product, service, and overall understanding of their risk portfolio. Kelsey volunteers with various social services organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, and animal rescue/rights organizations.

Kevin Cruz joined Flood and Peterson as an Employee Benefits Advisor in 2023. Kevin brings with him over 17 years of employee benefits industry experience. Kevin has a foundation in client sales and service, along with a proven track record of development and management of strategic employee benefit programs. Kevin focuses on helping organizations strategize to reduce their overall cost of benefits.

Kristen Hopkins serves as an Employee Benefits Advisor. She has been in the industry since 2015 and joined Flood and Peterson in 2022. With a foundation in Client Relations, Kristen has a proven track record of collaboration. Kristen has led the development of long-term benefits strategy for businesses of all sizes and in many industries. Along with her diverse background in Employee Benefits, Kristen also has extensive claims and resolution experience. Kristen graduated from Arizona State with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Kristen has previously volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club and her local Food Bank.

Lynda Mitch joined Flood and Peterson as a Personal Lines Account Executive in 2014. She has over 30 years of personal insurance experience. In addition to participating in community outreach, Lynda is a member of Chapter CR PEO.

Tyler Patterson joined Flood and Peterson in 2023 and has spent 7 years working as a Safety Manager in the general contracting industry. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management from Slippery Rock University and graduated with honors. Tyler holds his CSP designation and is currently a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Young Professionals group and the Future Leaders Forum for the Association of General Contractors. Tyler’s father owns his own agency, and he appreciates the fact that the industry always provides something new to learn and that every day is different. In his free time Tyler enjoys being outside hunting, skiing, running, clay shooting and traveling. Tyler volunteers for Food for Thought in Denver.

William Rich joined Flood and Peterson in 2022 as a Risk Advisor. He has been in the insurance industry since 2012 and worked for some of the largest agencies in the country. He gravitated to Flood and Peterson because of the focus on the clients, not the stock price. William has extensive knowledge of Experience Modification Analysis and will primarily focus his time in the Construction and Transportation segments. Will graduated with a B.S. in Legal Studies from Indiana University. He holds the CIC, AAI, and AU designations. He also serves on the Colorado Ready Mix Association Safety Board.
