The focus on the session will include: reasons for an inspection, the inspection process, criteria of a citation, penalty definitions, importance of a good safety culture and tips to follow when OSHA inspects your organization.

John Crawmer joined Pinnacol Assurance as a Safety Consultant in November of 2011 and provided consultative services to all industries; he now serves in a Supervisory role for construction safety consultants. He previously worked as an HR and Safety Manager, Safety Specialist, licensed Journeyman electrician (Colorado #0110548), and electrical apprentice for an electrical contractor.
He is an instructor for first year electrical apprentices at the Independent Electrical Contractors Southern Colorado Chapter. He is the president of the Southern Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals. He holds three credentials from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Certified Environmental Safety and Health Trainer (CET), and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS). John Crawmer completed a BSBA in management at Colorado Technical University. He is personally passionate about safety and aspires to serve as a leader for the profession. He is also the owner of a start-up social enterprise called Harvest Ground Café, Inc.
